Enjoy an evening of wine tasting as you sample a selection of red and white wines, primarily from California and the Pacific Northwest, along with a few surprises! This fun class is designed for the novice wine enthusiast. Topics include: how and why to taste wine, buying for value, label deciphering, cork fondling, matching wine with food, creating apartment wine cellars, and an introduction to wine jargon suitable for impressing your friends (just what IS a varietal anyway?). Steven Richards has been teaching this critically acclaimed class for over 16 years and firmly believes that everyone, with a little wine knowledge, can relax and have “grape” fun!
